Note to self:
Don't ever forget Wednesday, October 29, 2008. It is the remarkable, rare day that Nate let me have the whole day off. I was complaining about needing a break and for the rest of the day he was busy as a bee, and redirecting me to the couch or bed to "put my feet up".
Here is the list that he did:
1. Vacuumed house, top to bottom, upstairs and down, including the tile.
2. Laundry, from start to finish. About 4-5 loads. Yes, that included even folding and putting it away.
3. Unloaded dishwasher, and did all the dirty dishes, all day long..
4. Washing my windows, front door, sliding glass doors, TV.
5. Taking Emily to and from school.
6. Picking up toys and books, etc.. all day long.
7. Propped me up with some pillows to read my book, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY! oh and he even offered to rub my feet..which if you knew Nate, or saw my feet you'd know why this is so unbelievable!
8. Got mad at me for trying to start dinner, he took over and had the kitchen clean BEFORE we ate dinner. (Homemade Burritos with the works, which were delish)
9. Cleaned up dinner, and made the kitchen sparkle.
10. Helped get kids to bed, and then gave ME the remote..
I will never forget the wonderful feeling of being at home and not having to lift a finger!! I will look back on this day to remind myself that you DO know how to clean and take care of the house..
Thanks my dear, you read my mind!! Which for a man to do is rare. I understand that I will not get this treatment everyday and no, I won't get used to it.. Thanks for giving me the day off, it was a huge treat!! I Love you!

WOW. I must say - I'm impressed!
Unbelievable. Did that really happen? He just wanted some action or something, or maybe he knew you'd blog about it and all of your friends would be jealous of you! Nice job Nate. You are a good man. I'm sure Dianna is happy that she gave you another chance after that first date when you were not at your best;). You guys are the perfect match!
Nate did all that?? That is hard to believe, are you sure he's not just buttering you up so that you will let him get that trailer he's been oh-so-wanting? Well, whatever his intentions i'm impressed that he did all that, and glad you got 'the day off'.
Wowowowowowowow! Way to go! What a treat!
WOW!!!! That is all I can say! WOW!!!!
That is so sweet. Can he teach Dan?
That is amazing! You are one lucky woman.
Very Impressed! Way to go Nate!
What a man! I just told Jake what Nate did (to make him feel guilty of course) and Jake said, "Wll, I was gonna do that to...after football season was over"!
Where did I go wrong ;)
Good job Nate!
WOW!!! I am extremly impressed that he got all of that done in one day! I have a hard time doing all of that and I say at home everyday!
