I thought I'd let you all know that we are leaving Monday the 25th to head to Grandma Duke's house....and then after we sadly say goodbye to the kids on Tuesday, we are flying to San Diego and then cruising to Mexico's Riviera!!! Yes, I am sad to leave the kids for 8 whole days and a little nervous, but am really looking forward to some rest and relaxation! It will be unlikely that I blog while onboard, but I will be sure to fill you in when we get back (Thursday March 6th)with lots of pictures...This trip seems surreal to me, and its funny cause Nate and I thought we should go back to Ixtapa, Mexico(where we went on our Honeymoon) on our 5th anniversary..We are a year late since we will be married 6 years this summer.. But we are thrilled anyway! Some of the ports that we will be going to are, Acapulco, Ixtapa, and Manzanillo..Then we'll make our way back to San Diego, Ca...(A big hug for Sarah, Nate's sister, who booked the trip for us!!)

Warm sensations!!!
Last night while lotioning Easton after a long bath, he peed all over me!! I didn't realize what was happening until I felt a warm sensation all over my legs! I was sitting cross legged while he was standing up in front of me! At least the pee was all over me instead of the carpet.. I thought most of his target practice was done with during early infancy, but I guess I was wrong! I wish I would've had my camera to get the look on his face when I instinctively screamed! His forehead furrowed and his nose was scrunched up so cute! It was pure shock on his part and then we all laughed.... Gotta love boys!!

What do you do all day?
(My sister had this on her blog and I thought it was great!!) I'm sure us mom's often feel this way!
What Do You Do All Day?
A man came home from work and found his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog.
Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a Cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.
He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out of the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, anda sked how his day went.
He looked at her bewildered and asked, 'What happened here today? She again smiled and answered, 'You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world I do all day? ''Yes,' was his incredulous reply. She answered, 'Well, today I didn't do it.'

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
Our Valentine's day so far has been a blast! We were practically buried in the snow, so we got all bundled up and got the 4-wheeler out! Nate was busy shoveling through the walls of snow as I took the kids throughout the neighborhood! We were not the only one's out, we saw many others on either their ATV or snowmobile! It's been so fun! It was awesome to plow through the huge drifts with the 4-wheeler and Nate even used our Pilot!
The kids were loving the ride!!!
Emmy and Daddy!
Easton was not too sure about being in the snow...He'd try to stand up and he'd fall right over!
It took Nate several hours to dig out his Police car!
Just the day before Emmy was riding her bike!!
Here is Nate plowing through the snow with the Pilot!!
Lucy was the funniest, we tossed her into the snow and she was buried!!
We wish everyone a very Happy Valentine's Day!!

Yummy waffles!
If anyone LOVES waffles, then here's a great recipe from scratch that your family will be sure to love.. My mom makes them everytime we go home to visit..
MOM'S WAFFLES
1 cube butter/marg
2 C. milk
2 eggs
2 C. flour
1 T sugar
4 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon salt
Melt butter in a small dish and set aside to cool a little bit.. Then add all dry ingredients in a large bowl, whisk together milk and eggs, then add to dry ingredients, adding the butter last. Mix well.. Pour about 1/2 c into heated waffle iron and serve with yummy butter or peanut butter and syrup! Very filling and very good! Enjoy..

wasting my time...
I seriously have been wasting so much time on the computer! I get bored and search for just random things.. I really should be in bed right now but found a cool website called pyzam that has tons of blog templates! Anyway, so I've been playing around with a few and liked this one! It seems that while Nate is at work and the kids are in bed, I get bored. So its either the TV, a book, or the computer! I often wonder why I'm so tired in the day and think to myself, "tonight I will be in bed by 9 o'clock!" Yeah right...I LOVE my quiet time too much apparently! Anyway, with that said, and my night wasted on the internet..good night! At least my blog is cuter right?

Updating my blog....
It seems that updating my blog is few and far between! I seriously feel like if I sit down to the computer that everything else falls apart. Like today for instance... I thought I'd try this slideshow thing and of course it takes me forever just to figure the darn thing out.. So anyway, just as I'm starting to get the hang of it, and playing around with some cool transitions, I'm being beckoned to play barbies. Well, "in a minute" doesn't do a thing and I hear, "RIGHT NOW MOM!"...So I start to stress out a little to try and get this thing done. Meanwhile, Easton is roaming the room, filling it with a foul odor of pure poop! Oh and then Nate is begging me to "please cut my hair"... Aaagh! So needless to say it takes about 2 hours just to hit the "publish" button and call it good...Probably for another month or two... Until someone says, "you need to update your blog!" I know I know.. I have some great friends that blog like everyday! How do you keep up?! I LOVE to look at all your fun blogs and hopefully I will be more efficient at keeping you all updated on our household happenings!!!
