Random update...

I am loving Spring weather. It is wonderful. I love being able to hear the birds, the kids playing outside, and the smell of fresh cut grass.. My favorite is opening the windows in the morning and listening to all the birds! I told Emily that they can get me a bird feeder for Mother's Day, just so we can attract all the pretty sounds of birds. I am really looking forward to these next few days and Mother's Day. Mainly because Nate is home. He's been working non-stop, with crazy hours for the past week and we are excited to have him home until Sunday! Yes, Sunday, he took it off for me! How special do I feel? All I know is I don't need any gift's, just to have us all spend time together is gift enough for me right now!

We are looking forward to May 14th. That is the day my ultrasound is scheduled and we are so hoping that we find out the gender of our baby. Emily draws pictures of her and her baby sister, I am somewhat worried that if it's not a girl she will be devastated. I've told her that it could very well be another brother and she just nods her head like, so, I am still hoping it's a girl!! Whatever the sex is, we will be so excited!

Speaking of the baby, check out the size of my belly. I feel so big already! I'm only 18.5 weeks, and I am afraid of how large I will be by 39 weeks!!! I am loving it though, baby is moving, and kicking me, and I LOVE when I can start to feel that! The other day Emily asked when the baby was coming out and I told her Sept 29th, and Easton then wanted to see my "baby", meaning my belly.

So I showed him.. He then pointed to my boob and said, "let me see THAT one"!! I laughed so hard, he really doesn't "get it" yet, and I don't think he will until the baby is actually here.
He just doesn't have the motherly instincts that Emily has.. He will be a great big bro regardless!!

Emily is seriously doing so well with reading. We went to the library the other day and got a bunch of new books for her to practice, and she did awesome!! There were only a few words that she needed my prompting on, the rest was all her! She loves the thrill of doing it all by herself, and she loves to read to her dolls and animals. The cutest is when I'm busy and I'll find her reading to Easton, that is the best! We are excited for her to start 1st grade, still in shock over it, but excited. She will do awesome!! Oh and we got a glimpse of what her teenage years might be like..
She was outside playing when a friend from kindergarten rode by on his "motorcycle" bike. He stopped and they were talking for seriously ever, and then they started chasing each other around the yard. It was so cute! After he left, she kept saying, "I can't believe Nicholas lives by us!" Oh what we have in store..

Easton is such a funny boy, his personality is so big and bubbly, and he's so quick to laugh and just pull the funniest stunts.. He loves to do this "man oh man" dance, he came up with it himself, and he does it quite frequently, whenever he is feeling the urge. Mostly when he's getting undressed and feeling "free".. I was telling my mom about it and she wanted to see a video so here it is..It still doesn't do it justice, it's much funnier in person.. He's our little comdedian!

You are NOT big. But I know what you feel like. I'm not either, but at 24 weeks, I feel like I'm as big as a house!! It doesn't matter what the size, when your belly sticks out, you feel enormous, regardless. ((hugs))

Good luck on the gender u/s next week. :) I'll send little girl vibes.

Woodstock loves to kiss my belly at night and stick her binky in my belly button for the "baby" - so cute. I'm a bit worried that she'll love the stuffing out of the new baby, but we'll see ...

Oh how I loved this post. You look so adorable pregnant. I'm 10.5 weeks and I already feel so big. I'll post my 12 week picture...I'm sure it won't be pretty!
I love that Easton asked to see the baby in your boob. That is hilarious. And you made my heart sink to my stomach making me think about my little girl and boys. That is so cute that Emily was talking to him for so long. So cute. Future boyfriend maybe? :)
What a cute family you are. Glad you finally posted!

I can totally relate to the feeling so "big" thing. I swear with each child I grow into my maternity clothes twice as fast as with the last one. Guess our bodies just know what is about to come, and help us out by making us look pregnant instead of fat just a little bit sooner!

Dianna,

This is Kirsten Zmerzlikar. Thanks for the comment on my blog. It's kind of crazy how we are all kind of connected! Your kids are darling! Aaron would love to get together with Nate sometime. He is working in Texas for the summer, but I'm sure he would love to hear from him. His e-mail is zmerz145@gmail.com. Good luck with your pregnancy -- you look great!

I think that my 3 year old (Herschel) thought we were have quadruplets instead of twins. He would point at my belly and say two babies and then point to my chest and say baby. You better watch out I felt huge at the beginning too and look what I ended up with. We didn't have an ultrasound until 20 weeks so we were really surprised and I felt better about my girth. Best of luck!
