Memorial Fund

The last few days I can't get this off my mind. An old friend and neighbor from Stansbury was killed in a plane crash on Antelope Island. He left his wife, three-year-old twin girls, and a 1-year old son. Kirk was our home teacher for quite awhile and was always so good at keeping tabs on my family. Always bringing over a plate of cookies, or a cute Christmas decoration, was his way of saying, "I care, and want to help if I can".. He was a great neighbor, as was his wife Angie, and their kids.. We will miss him, and pray for Angie and their family. If anyone is interested in reading more about him, here is a memorial site in honor of his life. I just can't imagine the heartache Angie must be going through.. Our prayers are with the Babbit family!!

I heard about that on the news, but I guess it takes on new meaning when it is someone that you know personally. We will pray for the family.

Dianna, after I saw this on your blog I went to the memorial site & confirmed what I was wondering. Just this last Monday Kirk helped our Division @ work with a purchase of a 40" monitor from TV specialists. When I heard the name on the news I thought it might be the same guy and now I know. I was amazed with his service! He was on top of the whole thing in less than a day! He must of been a great guy!
