So far in the year 2008....

Holy Cow I can't believe its 2008. We have been busy its seems, just recovering from our Holidays! We were at Grandma & Grandpa Duke's for Christmas, and I was lucky enough to stay for a whole week! Nate had to fly home early for work, and then the kids and I, along with Aunt Lisa, drove home New Years Eve. Lisa flew back to St. George later that night thanks to Aaron who gives us "buddy passes" since he works at Skywest.. Anyway, its good to be home and back into the routine of things. Nothing major has happened to merit any exciting blog for you all to read, just the fact that we are all well, except for the persistant colds that seems to NEVER go away.. Nate is growing a mustache which is because his squad is having a contest... He likes to go by Juan these days... He is loving his new bike squad, they have lots of fun at the same time hammering down on the crime! Emily is still loving pre-school, and loves her free time to play, color, play barbies...the list goes on. Easton..man he's a tough one lately. He loves to do things by himself, such as brush his teeth, eat, etc.. He says, "Bee bee" for Big Boy for getting up on the couch or chairs... Nate thinks I better stop having him on the counter during my make-up application cause he LOVES to mimick me with the blush! And as for me, its a challenge still to keep up on things, but that is usual... I enjoy it though, and we have Daxton, who I babysit three days a week.. He helps to keep Emily entertained! I feel truly blessed, to be able to stay home! My goal this year is to FINALLY lose weight, since I'm not pregnant anymore.. Now is better than later! However, Nate and I are going on an 8 day cruise to Acapulco, Ixtapa, and Manzanillo in Feb!!! So maybe I should just wait until after that...since I plan on enjoying all the food!!!
